St. Francis alumna Harrington named WAC Player of the Week

Nevada junior outside hitter and St. Francis alumna Kylie Harrington was named the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week today.
It is the first-ever honor for the player from Honolulu.
Harrington tallied 54 kills, 22 digs, three assists and two service aces as Nevada went 2-1 in WAC matches last week to clinch a spot in the upcoming WAC Tournament. Harrington averaged 4.91 kills on .283 hitting to lead the Pack in kills in all three matches. In the first match of the week at Fresno State, she had a career-high 25 kills in Nevada's 3-1 win. In Thursday’s 3-1 loss to New Mexico State, Harrington totaled a team-high 11 kills. In the final match of the week, she had a match-high 18 kills and hit a career-best .571 as Nevada swept Louisiana Tech 3-0.
