A 29-year-old man with no local address was arrested near the Hawaii Prince Hotel on Ala Moana Boulevard in Waikiki after he allegedly threatened a 34-year-old man and 51-year-old woman with a large knife during what police described as a “non-domestic argument.”

The suspect left immediately after the incident but was spotted later in the same area and arrested about 1:20 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
