Man in Waianae taken to hospital with apparent stab wounds

A man at a home in Waianae was taken to a hospital late last night after sustaining apparent stab wounds.
Bryan Cheplic of the city's Emergency Services Department said paramedics responded to a call shortly before midnight at a Mana Street address.
They treated and stabilized a male believed to be in his 20s and took him to a trauma center in critical condition. The man's condition has since improved to serious.
