Hawaii under flash flood watch
Advertiser Staff
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for all Hawaiian Islands starting Tuesday night. Earlier today the state was warned of a flood potential outlook.
The weather service says locally heavy rains and flash flooding are possible Wednesday and Thursday.
“An upper level low is forecast to move over the Islands Wednesday and Thursday and bring some unsettled weather that includes the chance of heavy rainfall and flash flooding,” the weather service says in its outlook.
The weather service says details on the timing and location of the rains remain uncertain but that coming forecasts will become more specific.
