No. 3 UH sweeps San Jose State in women's volleyball

Kanani Danielson had 15 kills, hitting. 519, to lead the third-ranked University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team to a sweep of San Jose State in a women's volleyball match at Spartan Gym in San Jose, Calif.
The scores were 25-12, 25-15, 25-15 as UH completed its road trip with a 3-0 record.
The Rainbow Wahine, who have won 17 in a row, improved to 21-2, 11-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.
UH returns home for its final two matches of the season Friday and Sunday, with the 5 p.m. Sunday match being senior night against Utah State.
UH senior Amber Kaufman had a big night in front of friends and family in her hometown of San Jose. Kaufman had 11 kills on 13 swings, hitting .846 for the match. Kaufman also added three blocks.
Senior Aneli Cubi-Otineru had eight kills and Dani Mafua had 34 assists and three kills.
