Soccer: Some World Cup games already sold out with year to go

JOHANNESBURG — FIFA says tickets are sold out for the opening and final matches of the 2010 World Cup, as well as for all games involving England, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Ireland and Netherlands.
FIFA said in a statement Thursday that, with just over a year before play begins, the semifinals and all the matches in Cape Town, Nelspruit and Pretoria, the capital, also were sold out.
The first match is June 11, 2010, in Johannesburg.
