Public invited to Memorial Day observation at Schofield Barracks

U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii will hold a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at the Schofield Barracks Post Cemetery.
The public is invited to join the garrison Monday at 10 a.m. as it honors soldiers who gave their lives in service of our country.
Col. Matthew Margotta, commander of USAG-HI, will be the speaker. Representatives from the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion will also participate, helping place wreaths at the cemetery flagpole to honor fallen comrades.
Attendees should enter through Foote Gate, off Kunia Road.
Drivers should be aware that standard security measures are in effect.
Driver's license, registration, proof of insurance and valid photo identification for each occupant is required for entry.
