Turtle Bay to host State Open

Turtle Bay Resort has signed a three-year deal with the Aloha Section PGA to host the Hawai'i State Open, beginning this Dec. 18 to 20. The 54-hole championship will use both the Palmer and Fazio courses, according to Matt Hall, Turtle Bay's director of golf and Aloha Section PGA president.
Using both courses will enable the Turtle Bay Resort Hawai'i State Open to expand the fields for both the senior and women's flights, according to Hall.
The Hawai'i State Open had been looking for a title sponsor when Prince Resorts Hawai'i ended a 14-year relationship with the Aloha Section PGA.
