Police will meet this morning to determine if they will continue to search for a Pearl City woman who was last seen walking her dog Sunday afternoon.

Search teams scoured the area above Pearl City High School and along the Waimano Trail for a fourth straight day yesterday for Gail Yoshida. The 63-year-old resident left her home at about 5 p.m. Sunday to walk her dog, but has been missing since.

Two people Sunday reported seeing Yoshida on a roadway to the rear of the high school and on the hiking trail above the school. Police spokesman Maj. Clayton Kau said another person yesterday reported seeing Yoshida and her dog at about 5 p.m. Sunday on a path just off Waimano Home Road between the roadway and the fence line of the high school.

Yesterday, about 30 people and the HPD canine team searched for Yoshida. but Kau said there were no signs of the missing woman. He said police will determine this morning how much longer they will continue to look for her.
