Don Ho's Island Grill is calling for "Island Style Salads" as the May category for its new monthly recipe competition.

April's winner was John Twelker of Wai'anae, for "Papa Maui's Ginger Chili." He wins a gift certificate and his recipe is being featured on the menu this month at the Aloha Tower Marketplace restaurant.
