Hawai'i County's Office of Housing and Community Development is sponsoring free classes on "Life-long Lessons in Financial Management" in Hilo and Kona.

In Hilo, the complete eight-hour class will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 11. The same class will be split into two sessions from 8 a.m. to noon May 9 and May 23, with repeat 8 a.m. to noon sessions June 6 and June 27. The location for all sessions is 1990 Kino'ole St., Suite 104.

In Kona, classes will be held in two sessions from 8 a.m. to noon April 2 and April 3, with a condensed version of the entire class from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 14, and 5 to 9 p.m. June 18. The location is the mayor's Kona office, 75-5706 Kuakini Highway, Suite 103.

Participants who attend a full session or its equivalent can earn a certificate of attendance and completion.
