LOS ANGELES — "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" graduated with honors yesterday at the Kids Choice Awards.

The Disney musical was selected as the favorite movie by audience votes at the 22nd annual slime-filled Nickelodeon spectacle held inside UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens was also selected as the favorite movie actress.

The show's hijinks kicked off with host and "Race to Witch Mountain" star Dwayne Johnson zip-lining over the audience of screaming teens and tweens into a "slime temple."

Johnson proceeded to spray the first row with gooey green slime.

Other shenanigans included squirting singer Jesse McCartney with a fake microphone and Will Ferrell slipping and sliding down a hill.

Winners included "iCarly" for TV show, "American Idol" for reality show, Jonas Brothers for music group and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" for animated movie. Jack Black arrived in motorcycle sidecar to pick up his award for favorite voice from an animated film for "Kung Fu Panda."

Miley Cyrus was brought to tears when she was announced as favorite female singer.

"I really thought I was gonna lose, so thank you, guys," Cyrus said.

'GREY'S ANATOMY' STAR WANTS TO STAY

LOS ANGELES — "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl says she's ready to stay with the ABC medical drama if the show decides to keep her character around.

Heigl said Friday at a studio party to mark the show's 100th episode that her character's fate is in the hands of series creator Shonda Rhimes.

She added that she would be glad to stay on the show.

Heigl also says it's premature to think her days as Dr. Izzie Stevens are numbered.

In Thursday's episode, Izzie was seen surviving brain surgery, but there had been speculation that Heigl wanted to leave the show to do films full time.

The "Knocked Up" actress says she's been lucky to have the chance to balance the series with her film career.

DOLLY TRIES TO KEEP THE RECORD STRAIGHT

Dolly Parton says she's tired of having to set the record straight about her sexuality. The country icon, whose friendship with her best friend Judy Ogle has sparked decadeslong rumors she is a lesbian, tells AARP magazine she has a close relationship with her pal.

"We're absolutely totally honest, open and comfortable with each other," Parton said. "We've been accused of being lovers. We do love each other, but we've never been like that."

Parton, 63, who has been married to Carl Dean for 43 years, also opens up about her abiding religious faith: "I'm not some crazy Holy Roller, though I grew up with that."

She says she'll never settle for retirement: "I'll always want to have something to do, and hopefully I can just fall dead right in the middle of it."
