MUSIC VIDEO DESIGNED TO LIFT SPIRITS
Madskill, a Honolulu based creative consulting firm, has produced a Hawai'i version of the music video "Rockstar" by Nickelback, that features Hawai'i businesses, local celebrities and residents.Madskill describes the video as a "fun, feel-good project to boost spirits within the state of Hawai'i during tough economic times."
"We wanted to do our part to send a positive message to the community and show that we can come together and get through these hard times and still have fun," said Ray Carbullido, owner of Madskill.

HAWAIIAN AIR PARENT OKS STOCK BUY
The parent of Hawaiian Airlines said it has authorized the purchase of up to $7 million in company stock.The amount represents about 4 percent of Hawaiian Holdings Inc.'s market capitalization of $175.2 million.
Shares of Hawaiian hit a 52-week low of $2.17 earlier this month before rising to $3.40, where it closed yesterday. The drop reflects investors concerns about the impact of the weak economy on air travel.
A&B CLOSES PHOENIX, MAUI SALES
Alexander & Baldwin Inc. said it has sold a Phoenix office building and a Maui ground lease parcel for undisclosed prices.The sales through subsidiary A&B Properties Inc. will provide A&B capital to buy other attractive commercial property on a tax-advantaged basis, according to the Honolulu-based firm.
The Maui sale involved a 37,300-square-foot parcel within the Fairgrounds' industrial park in central Kahului developed by A&B in the early 1990s. A tenant leasing the property bought the fee-simple interest. The buyer was not named.
The Phoenix building named Southbank II is a single-story property with 120,800 square feet of office space built in 1997. A&B bought the building in 1998.
A&B said Southbank II was a stable operation with recent long-term lease deals that provided for a sale at a "favorable" price. The buyer was not named.
ALA MOANA GAP SPORTS NEW DESIGN
Gap at Ala Moana has opened the doors of its newly remodeled store.The new Gap store is near its previous spot on the Mall Level, and includes GapKids and babyGap.
The facelift includes a "new modern design" including new flooring, fixtures, fitting rooms and lighting. The store also received all-new illuminated walls for in-store marketing.
