Cemetery plants, flowers for Easter allowed from April 27
Potted plants and artificial flowers will be allowed at gravesites in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl for Easter beginning on April 27, according to cemetery officials.
Any items placed before then will be removed, officials said.
Items that are not allowed include permanent plantings, statues, vigil lights, glass objects and toys such as pin wheels, balloons and stuffed animals.
Decorations are not allowed to be secured to headstones or grave markers and metal hooks may not be used to secure plants and decorations.
