Gov. Linda Lingle has ordered state flags to be flown at half-staff at state and county buildings Friday in honor of former state Rep. Ted Mina. He died March 8 at the age of 74.
Mina was first elected to the state House in 1976, representing the Kalihi area of Honolulu for two terms.
He is to be buried Friday at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, following an 11 a.m. Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa in Honolulu.
