Hawaiian Airlines parent OKs stock buyback up to $7M
The parent of Hawaiian Airlines said it has authorized the purchase of up to $7 million in company stock.
The amount represents about 4 percent of Hawaiian Holdings Inc.' market capitalization of $175.2 million.
Shares of Hawaiian hit a 52-week low of $2.17 earlier this month before rising to $3.40 where it closed yesterday. The drop reflects investors concerns about the impact of the weak economy on air travel.
