Surf on the east side will be 5 to 8 feet through today but it will be rough and continue that way for the next several days.

A High Surf Advisory has been issued for east-facing shores.

A northwest swell arriving tomorrow will peak near the advisory level on Thursday then decline Friday through Saturday.

On the north shores waves will be 3 to 5 feet through today, on the west shores 1 to 3 feet and on the south shores 1 to 2 feet.
