The Honolulu Academy of Arts has announced the artists and award winners for the Artists of 2009 exhibit opening May 14.

This year's juror is renowned curator Laura Hoptman of the New Museum of Contemporary Art, who selected 86 pieces by 64 artists.

Included in the show is 16-year-old Harley Diven, a photographer from Pahoa on the Big Island, who is the second youngest artist to be part show in its 58 year history.
