Members of the 'Ewa Neighborhood Board last week elected Kurt Fevella as its chairman, his second stint at that post in recent years.

Fevella was elected 7-2 in the wake of former board chairman Richard Hargrave's recent resignation from the board for personal reasons. Fevella had been vice chairman.

Mitchell Tynanes was elected to replace Fevella as vice chairman last week.

Also at the meeting Coby Lynne was appointed to the board to replace Hargrave.

The existing term for neighborhood board members ends June 30.

Fevella had been board chairman until he was defeated by voters in the spring 2007 neighborhood board election. He returned to the board in February 2008, however, when the board appointed him to fill a vacancy.
