Historic preservation event at Capitol today
The annual Historic Preservation Awareness Day is set for today at the state Capitol.
The free event features exhibitors from the public, private and nonprofit sectors, who will highlight what they're doing to preserve the state's architectural, cultural and natural heritage.
The event is made possible through a grant from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
It runs from 9 a.m. to noon on the third floor of the state Capitol.
