The city medical examiner this morning identified Royal K. Kaukani as the woman who was fatally shot yesterday afternoon in Ewa.

Witnesses told police Kaukani was shot on Kaukolu Way about 2:20 p.m. and that a man on a motorcycle was seen speeding away from the area immediately after the shooting.

Police last night arrested Kaukani's ex-boyfriend, Toi Albert Nofoa, saying they wanted to question him in connection with the case.
