The state says street lights along the Pali Highway from Waokanaka Street to the tunnels will be repaired by May.

The lights have been out since November, when an accident took out an electrical box.

Tammy Mori, state Department of Transportation spokeswoman, said special parts were needed from the Mainland to replace the damaged parts. The replacement parts cost $7,254.

She said the parts are expected to arrive in late April and be installed by early May.

After the accident, crews installed reflectors along the lane lines to help with visibility.
