Hokule'a voyage to Palmyra Atoll delayed again
The voyaging canoe Hokule'a today once again delayed setting sailing for a 1,000-mile trip to Palmyra Atoll.
The 12-member crew has been trying to begin the voyage since Feb. 28 but was delayed by rain and powerful winds. Today, an absence of wind was forecast for 800 miles of the 1,000-mile trip.
The next window to launch will be on Wednesday, said crew member Pauline Sato.
