The reopening of Hawaiian Hall at Bishop Museum is set for Aug. 8.
The event will include a celebration, which will continue through the weekend.
Hawaiian Hall was closed in 2006 to undergo a $20 million restoration. It now includes three floors of artifacts and exhibits.
"The Hawaiian Hall of today showcases the continuity of the Hawaiian culture," said Timothy Johns, president and chief executive officer of Bishop Museum.
