Surfers in need of help brought in by lifeguards
Honolulu lifeguards and firefighters helped rescue three surfers in distress yesterday, two of whom were found clinging to a buoy at Point Panic in Kewalo Basin.
Lifeguards brought in two of the surfers and searched briefly for the third man, who made it ashore on his own, said Honolulu fire Capt. Robert Main.
No one was injured. The call came in shortly before 2 p.m.
