Documents show actor Dennis Quaid and his wife have agreed to a $500,000 settlement with a hospital that gave his newborn twins an overdose of blood thinner.
A petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in May shows the settlement will be divided evenly between the twins, Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has also agreed to provide free medical care for any issues from the Heparin overdose in November 2007.
The drug can be fatal to infants, but the Quaids and the hospital aren't aware of any lingering health issues with the twins.
The settlement was first reported yesterday by celebrity gossip site TMZ.

CBS isn't commenting on reports that veteran newsman Walter Cronkite is gravely ill.
The 92-year-old former anchor of "The CBS Evening News," who has been ailing for some time, has reportedly taken a turn for the worse, according to TVNewser and other online sites.
CBS News spokesman Kevin Tedesco had no comment yesterday.
Bob Schieffer said, "All of us are praying for the best, and our thoughts are with Walter's family." The host of CBS' "Face the Nation" and a longtime Cronkite colleague, Schieffer noted that he had no current news on Cronkite's condition.

CBS says Academy Award-winning actress Linda Hunt is joining the cast of the new fall drama "NCIS: Los Angeles."
The network said yesterday that Hunt will play a tough, efficient department manager who gets government investigators the electronics and other crime-fighting tools they need.
The show stars Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J as members of a Naval Criminal Investigative Service division that fights threats to national security.
'ON WITH THE SHOW' FOR 'IDOL' RUNNER-UP
An album featuring Adam Lambert is coming out sooner than expected.
Songs from the "American Idol" runner-up will be released this summer by Hi Fi Recordings and Wilshire Records, beginning with the single "Want."
The tracks were recorded in 2007 and 2008 before Lambert's rise on the popular Fox singing competition. The album will be titled "On with the Show."
Lambert also inked a record deal with 19 Entertainment and RCA Recordings this month. He'll record that album while on the road with the show's finalists for the "Idols Live Tour," which starts July 5 in Portland, Ore.
