An outpatient surgery center has signed a lease to fill the space in Waterfront Plaza that will be vacated by Restaurant Row 9 Theatres when it closes in August.

Waterfront Plaza owner Pacific Office Properties said the facility will be owned and operated by a newly formed joint venture between Surgical Care Affiliates LLC and Hawaii Pacific Health Partners.
The companies signed a 15-year lease for the center, which will occupy 17,000 square feet in the downtown Honolulu building.
