Hospice Hawaii to host bereavement camp

Hospice Hawaii is hosting its annual Family Bereavement Camp, giving children a safe haven to share their emotions with young people in similar situations.
The camp is for families with children 5 to 17 years old who have lost a loved one to death in the past four years. It provides a balance of activities and introspective exercises to assist families with the process of loss, grief, remembrance and healing. Approximately 40 youth can attend.
The Family Bereavement Camp is held at the Queen Lilioukalani Children’s Center in Hauula in June. For more information about the Family Bereavement Camp, call Hospice Hawaii at 924-9255. For more information about Hospice Hawaii, visit http://www.hospicehawaii.org.
