The state's Freeway Service Patrol begins offering free roadside assistance along sections of H-1 and Moanalua freeways tomorrow morning.

The two-year pilot program is funded by the federal government.
Services will include changing flat tires, jump-starting vehicles, refilling radiators, towing and temporary minor repairs.
The state hopes the effort will improve highway safety by getting stalled vehicles moving or off the road.
