Turn off lights to save energy, money

Inform your boss: Energy can be saved by switching off the lights whenever a bathroom is not being used, even if the lights are fluorescent, and even if there's high traffic. A cost-effective option is to install an occupancy-control switch. Some types of controls work better in some spaces. The generic bathroom intended for one occupant can have a simple wall-mounted passive infrared control in place of a switch. Restrooms with stalls are best controlled with "ultrasonic" switching mounted at ceiling height to accommodate the stall walls and doors.

HANDY HOUSEHOLD TIP
SCRUB AWAY STAINS THE GREEN WAY
Here's a green method for removing counter stains: Rub in a paste of cream of tartar and lemon juice. Let it soak, then rinse.
Another option: a soft scrub with baking soda and liquid soap, mixed until the solution is about as thick as frosting.
