The breezy tradewinds will continue through the weekend with light showers favoring the Windward and mauka areas,the National Weather Service says.

Not much in the way of rainfall is predicted through early next week. After that, weather forecasters say the chance of showers will increase.
The winds over the summits of the high mountains on Maui and the Big Island will be on the stronger side, but are below advisory levels, the weather service says.
