An 18-year-old Salt Lake man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly took an iPod from a 14-year-old boy in Kaimuki.

The boy told police the man approached him about 12:25 p.m. and told him to turn over the iPod if he didn’t want to get hurt.
The boy felt intimidated and afraid and turned over the iPod, at which point the man ran away, police said.
Officers were called and located and detained a possible suspect at the corner of Kilauea and Waialae avenues.
The boy identified the man who was then arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
