Police arrested a 55-year-old man who broke into another man's Mo'ili'ili apartment, smoked a cigar and ate some food yesterday.

The man, Jaime Valenzuela, was arrested at 2750 Date St. at 11:25 a.m. yesterday after the 45-year-old resident returned home to find a window forced open and a man inside the apartment. When he had left his apartment earlier that morning it was locked and intact, police said.

When he returned, the apartment showed signs of having been searched, police said. Valenzuela, reported as a missing person, was arrested on charges of burglary in the first degree and for outstanding warrants.
