Target to open first Neighbor Island store tomorrow

The first Target Corp. store on the Neighbor Islands is scheduled to open tomorrow when the discounters newest location opens at the Kona Commons shopping center on the Big Island.
Target, which opened its first Hawaiçi stores on Oçahu in March, is debuting an about 160,000 square foot store in Kona that will employ more than 300 people. The store will feature3 a pharmacy, photo service, Starbucks and Target Cafe.
Target, the nations No. 2 discount retailer, plans to break ground for a Hilo store in January 2010, with an opening planned for July 2011.
