A body found in Cache la Poudre River in northern Colorado has been identified as a Big Island man who went missing last week when he crashed his motorcycle into the river.
The Larimer County sheriff's office said the body is that of Dennis M. Schultz, 63, of Kailua, Kona. Schultz's body was found Saturday about a mile down river from where witnesses reported seeing him crash Wednesday and go under a guardrail and into the river.
The Colorado State Patrol says a passer-by discovered the body Saturday afternoon.
The cause of death was ruled blunt force trauma, an accident.
