Energy Industries Corp., a Honolulu-based company specializing in energy-efficiency services, said it had hired Hubert Chang as president and chief executive officer.
Chang will take over CEO duties from company founder Darren Kimura, who will continue as chairman. Miles Kubo, who had been president, will now serve as chief operating officer and executive vice president of the company’s energy finance division.

Chang most recently was managing director of clean energy investment banking at America’s Growth Capital and previously served as a director of clean energy and semiconductor investment banking practice at Merrill Lynch &Co.
