Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon and Golden State forward Anthony Randolph are heading to USA Basketball’s minicamp, while four players are pulling out.
Portland’s Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, plus Houston’s Trevor Ariza and Boston’s Glen Davis will not be in Las Vegas. New York forward David Lee and Indiana’s Danny Granger will attend minicamp but won’t participate.
The roster stands at 23 after Monday’s announcements. The minicamp is being used to identify possible candidates for available spots on the U.S. teams in the 2010 world championships and 2012 Olympics.
The Americans will hold training sessions Thursday and Friday, then play an intrasquad exhibition game Saturday night.
