A teenage boy was in critical condition yesterday in a near-drowning incident at a swimming pool in çEwa.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the community pool at the Coronado residential subdivision at 5:34 p.m. The boy, in his mid-teens, was treated and stabilized, and taken to a hospital in critical condition, said Bryan Cheplic, city Emergency Services spokesman.
