Universal Pictures says a third Bridget Jones movie is planned.

But a studio spokeswoman would not say whether Renee Zellweger will revisit her Oscar-nominated role as the lovable kook.

The 2000 and 2004 films "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" were hits, introducing the terms "singleton" and "smug marrieds," among other Bridget-isms.

ROWE SUES OVER BEING DISSED ON TV

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Deborah Rowe has sued a woman who claimed in a television interview that Rowe doesn't want custody of the pop star's children but was interested in getting money from the Jackson family.

Rowe, the mother of Jackson's two oldest children, filed a defamation and invasion-of-privacy lawsuit Thursday against Rebecca White of Florida. It seeks unspecified damages, but specifically targets any money White may have been paid by TV show "Extra" for the interview that aired this week.

White's interview described e-mails she said she exchanged with Rowe after Jackson's death on June 25. Rowe denies sending White any recent e-mails.

'CSI' BRINGING BACK FORMER CAST MEMBER

Sara Sidle is coming back to "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

Actress Jorja Fox, who left the CBS crime drama as a regular two years ago, will return as Sara for the 10th-season debut and other episodes, CBS said yesterday.

The show returns Sept. 24.

Fox left "CSI" in its eighth year. She was seen briefly last season, including an episode in which her character reunited with ex-colleague and romantic interest Gil Grissom, played by William Petersen.

Petersen left the series last season and CBS didn't say if he might drop back in next season along with Fox.

MOVING 'BIG BROTHER' PLEA GETS BLEEPED

It was perhaps the most moving speech in "Big Brother" history, but fans didn't hear all of it.

Television viewers watching the live "Big Brother 11" eviction episode Thursday only heard part of contestant Chima Simone's petition to stay on the voyeuristic CBS reality show. Host Julie Chen later called it "the most memorable last-plea speech we've ever heard."

The audio cut out as Simone referenced a racial slur that fellow nominee Braden Bacha used against two other contestants. Also censored was Simone announcing that Bacha had used a sexually insulting word to describe Chen, who is expecting a child with her husband, CBS boss Les Moonves.
