Kupono Aweau and Randi Evans became the next two finalists eliminated from "So You Think You Can Dance's" fifth season during last night's live results show on Fox, according to www.realitytvworld.com.

"Dancing to me is like breathing," Aweau said in a video montage that preceded his ouster. "I just found a new sense of me. It's taken me beyond where I thought I could go, and I'm just grateful for it all. I'm totally grateful for this."

Aweau, a 23-year-old lyrical and contemporary dancer from Kailua, and Evans, a 23-year-old jazz dancer from Springville, Utah, were partnered together for the first time this season during Wednesday night's performance episode. They performed a Paso Doble choreographed by Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin.

LETTERMAN PULLS AHEAD IN RATINGS

There could be a new king emerging in late-night television. David Letterman's CBS "Late Show" whipped Conan O'Brien and NBC's "Tonight" show in the ratings last week by nearly 800,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Letterman generally lost to "Tonight" when Jay Leno was the host, and he hasn't had this big a victory margin since returning from heart surgery in 2000.

A late-night generation gap also appears to be emerging: The median age of O'Brien's audience last week was more than 10 years younger than Letterman's.

BEATTY SUFFERS ATTACK OF CAMERA SHYNESS

Actor Warren Beatty doesn't want cameras at his upcoming deposition in a bankruptcy court fight with the Tribune Co.

Attorneys for Beatty filed an emergency motion yesterday asking a Delaware judge to prohibit the videotaping of his July 23 deposition in a dispute with Tribune over the rights to cartoon detective Dick Tracy. Beatty's attorneys argue that the videotaping is unnecessary and could result in a violation of his privacy.

Tribune has offered to negotiate a protective order restricting dissemination of the tape. But Beatty contends the order would be inadequate to prevent dissemination and Internet distribution of the tape.

COURT DISMISSES SUIT AGAINST DICAPRIO

A lawsuit filed against Leonardo DiCaprio by his neighbors over a basketball court has been dismissed, court records show. The couple sued DiCaprio in May 2007, claiming their Hollywood Hills property was illegally excavated and some plants were removed so the actor could have a basketball court built at his rented home in 2004.
