A live runway show, part of Windward Mall's DisFUNKshion events, will offer back-to-school styles from 12 mall retailers, including Aeropostale, Get Wet, Hot Topic, Jeans Warehouse, Local Motion and Macy's. Catch it at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the mall.
RIMOWA OPENS IN WAIKIKI
The German luxury luggage maker Rimowa has opened a flagship store in the Westin Moana Surfrider. The store will carry the largest selection available in the United States, including a lightweight titanium collection, the Topas aluminum and magnesium collection and aluminum and polycarbonate designs. Among the features are a lock system developed by the TSA, a removable divider system and a multi-wheel system that lets the traveler push the luggage like a shopping cart as well as pull it behind.
Rimowa is perhaps best known for the Groove design created in the 1950s by founder Richard Morszeck Warenzichen. We love the beauty case that also serves as a traveling makeup table.
ROCK SHOP AT THE ICE BAR
Pop-up boutique Rock Shop takes up residence at the Ice Bar in the Honolulu Design Center from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The fashion show will feature nostalgic swimwear designs (like the one shown at left) by Suzanna Kuhlemann, who calls her line 1979.
KAILUA RUNNING CO.
After four years as a Fleet Feet Sports franchise, Fleet Feet Sport Kailua is going independent and is now called Kailua Running Company. It's still owned by Susan and George Redpath and still promises personalized service, along with brand names in shoes, apparel and accessories for athletes.

SUNNY LOOK IN AN ACCESSORY
What says summer better than sunshine yellow eyelet?
We love this hippie chic bag with denim shorts and gladiator sandals or a floral sundress with strappy stilettos. Eyelet's texture pairs well with prints or solids, cottons, linens or knits.
We found it at Cinnamon Girl in Ward Warehouse ($65).
