Fesharaki appointed to Dubai Mercantile board

Fereidun Fesharaki, head of Honolulu-based energy consultant FACTS Global Energy, has been appointed to the board of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, an energy futures and commodities exchange in the United Arab Emirates.
Fesharaki, who once served as energy advisor to the Petroleum Minister of Iran, replaces Rashid al Shamsi, who served as an independent director on the board.
