A woman who appeared to be in her 30s was injured this morning when she was struck by a car about 8:20 a.m while walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Ward Avenue and Lunalilo Street in Makiki.

A witness said a white sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, knocked the woman to the ground and then drove away.
A city ambulance arrive and took the woman to an area hospital.
Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said the woman was listed in stable condition with minor injuries.
