Kapiolani Community College this fall will offer the state's first wedding planner certificate program through a partnership with the Wedding Planning Institute.

KCC will be an accredited partner, offering onsite training from a local professional. The first session runs Tuesdays and Thursdays Sept. 24-Nov. 14.

The national certification can cost as much as $2,500 but KCC will be offering a special $995 inaugural rate for a limited time, with an additional $20 discount for those who enroll before Aug. 3.
