Still no determination of what killed alleged Waikiki beer thief

The Honolulu medical examiner’s office said this morning it has yet to determine what killed a California man who died Monday night in Waikiki after a struggle over stolen beer.
Humberto Murillo, 33, of San Fernando, allegedly stole beer from the ABC Store in the Hyatt Regency and then became involved in a scuffle with the store’s manager.
A passer-by helped the manager subdue Murillo, and by the time hotel security arrived, Murillo had lost consciousness.
Paramedics took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
An autopsy showed Murillo had no injuries to suggest he was beaten, police said yesterday.
