UH 66th in Cup standings

The University of Hawai'i finished 66th out of 279 Division I schools in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings.
UH earned 98 points during the fall sports season, 74.5 points in the winter and 141.5 during the spring season for a total of 314 points.
Stanford led Division I with 1,455 points, followed by North Carolina (1,184.25), Florida (1,172.75), Southern California (1,137.75) and Michigan (1,131.80).
The Cup is presented annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), Learfield Sports and USA Today to the best overall collegiate athletics programs in the country in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and the NAIA.
Grand Valley State (Mich.) topped Division II, Williams (Mass.) led Division III and Azusa Pacific (Calif.) placed first in the NAIA.

WINDWARD MOVING ON TO WEST ZONE
Members of the Windward team that won the P.O.N.Y. Bronco (ages 11-12) Hawai'i Region State Tournament Monday on the Big Island are:
Alika Kahaulelio, Dane Kamalu, Kody Cacal, Justice Kaawa, Robb Risso, Jonathan Pang, Kaimana Manago, Solomon Fellezs, Kapono Lucas, Jordan Yamamoto, Ryder Kuhns, Chase Kalama, Corey Nakakura, Ryan Mohika and Shawn Ulsh. The coaches are Kelly Cacal, Kyle Nakakura, Dave Kamalu and Larry Yamamoto.
The team advances to the West Zone Tournament, July 30 to Aug, 2 at Whittier, Calif.
