NBA: Lakers' Ariza to see doctor after concussion
Associated Press
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Lakers forward Trevor Ariza remains "slightly impaired" from a concussion he sustained against the Charlotte Bobcats, and it's unclear when he'll return to the team.
Ariza left late in the second quarter of the Lakers' 117-110 double-overtime loss Tuesday night and did not return.
He will see a doctor on Thursday, and the team will decide then whether Ariza will travel with the Lakers on a six-game road trip that begins Friday night at Minnesota, team spokesman John Black said Wednesday.
Ariza, a 6-foot-8 forward, is averaging 9.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 44 games this season.
