Lingle releases money for State Hosptial repairs

Gov. Linda Lingle has released $863,800 for two projects to repair Hawaii State Hospital's ventilation and air-conditioning equipment and hot-water system, the state said Tuesday in a news release.
The projects are part of the $1.87 billion, public infrastructure construction plan unveiled by Lingle in December to stimulate the economy and create jobs. Progress of all 1,521 projects belonging to the plan can be tracked at www.hawaii.gov/cip .
Hawaii State Hospital, located in Kaneohe, provides mental healthcare services to more than 350 patients annually under the supervision of the state Department of Health's Adult Mental Health Division.
