KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee coach Pat Summitt isn't pleased with the level of intensity she's gotten from some Lady Volunteers lately.

That's why she's turned up the intensity at practices beginning Tuesday.

Summitt says she lost patience with her players after they committed 23 turnovers in an 82-68 loss to Auburn on Sunday.

The Hall of Fame coach, one win away from her 1,000th victory, also is turning up the volume of her critique of Lady Vols' play.

Point guard Briana Bass isn't loud enough on the floor. Guard Angie Bjorklund isn't taking enough shots. Forwards Alyssia Brewer and Amber Gray aren't physical enough.

And if they don't impress Summitt, she plans to bench them when No. 13 Tennessee hosts Mississippi on Thursday night.
