 Lanes to close as crews fix guardrails, shoulders

Various single-lane closures along H-1 Freeway between Hickam Air Force Base and Moanalua Road will take place tomorrow through Friday as the Department of Transportation fixes guardrails and road shoulders, and installs road signs.

Specifically:

  • The right lane on the westbound on-ramp from Moanalua Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

  • The right lanes on the Honolulu-bound off-ramps to Moanalua Freeway and 'Aiea (both Exit 13A), from 10:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

  • Intermittent single-lane closures on H-1 westbound between the Hickam Air Force Base/Kamehameha Highway on-ramp and the Moanalua Freeway overpass from 9:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

    Electronic message boards will be placed around the construction areas. Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work areas and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
